Not too long ago, a woman was spotted trying to stop a Proton Wira at the Port Dickson traffic lights by lying on the bonnet.
In the video, the driver of the car continued to slowly turn to the right with the woman still hanging onto the vehicle.
The driver and the woman are an Indonesian couple and they have turned up at the Port Dickson police station to explain the situation which had gone viral online.
The 58-year-old driver of the Proton Wira had recently undergone treatment for several illnesses at the Port Dickson Hospital after the fasting month.
Due to this, his 32-year-old wife had instructed him not to leave the house as she was worried about his condition.
However, the man was adamant and decided to drive to their children’s house in Teluk Kemang.
The wife followed him on a neighbour’s motorcycle until she saw him at the Batu 1 traffic light junction heading toward Jalan Pantai Port Dickson.
Without wasting any time, she jumped in front of her husband’s car in a bid to stop him from leaving.
The couple has expressed regret for their behaviour and apologised for putting themselves and the other road users at risk.
